New Jersey 811 rules

In New Jersey you call New Jersey One Call (811): not less than three business days before beginning excavation or demolition. Ticket life: valid 45 business days from notification if work starts within 10 business days and markout is maintained; new notice after that; void if not started within 10 business days.

Good to know: The 45-business-day ticket is one of the longest in the country, as long as you start within 10 business days and keep the marks up.
